Introduction | After retiring from several careers as a Spanish teacher, medical receptionist, actress (and movie extra!), I am enjoying my new role as an English as a Second Language Teacher. I am married to a wonderful, thoughtful and supportive husband, otherwise known as "Mr. Neat". Since I am "Ms Messy" we complement each other very well. We have 2 terrific adult children, 2 great "in-law" kids, and the 4 best grandchildren in the world! And last, but not least, is Nellie, our Goldendoodle dog who loves to lie on my feet and keep me company. |
Interests | Theater: acting, directing, attending plays. Languages: Spanish is my favorite but I dabbled in Latin, French and Portuguese. Circuses. Visiting with family and friends. |
Favorite Movies | I'm not a big movie fan, but 2 that I really liked are "The Greatest Show on Earth" (a circus story)and "Barefoot in the Park" (the telephone man scene is the funniest). I like plays better and some of my favorites include: "A Chorus Line", "Steel Magnolias", "Moon for the Misbegotten" and "The Duchess of Malfi". |
Favorite Music | I like country music--both the Nashville sound as well as the old Appalachian mountain music. (I'm from West Virginia.) I also like classical music and Rock and Roll from the 50's. |
Favorite Books | Recently I have read Victor Villaseñor's trilogy: "Wild Steps of Heaven", "Rain of Gold" and "Thirteen Senses". I also like the poetry of Robert Frost and Emily Dickinson. |
All of the phone numbers have fallen out of your address book. Whose number do you look for first and why?
I would look for my own number because my memory ain't what it used to be and I forget little things like phone numbers, addresses and names!!
