| Introduction | What I’ve come to realize is that God isn’t looking for perfection in His children. He simply wants a relationship with us. He’s looking for people to be perfectly honest with Him so He can use us for His glory. And we can do that by saying yes Lord, here I am, use me. Use my mistakes to help someone else come to know how great You are; to know the sweetness of Your grace and mercy. Today I am very blessed. I am loved and I no longer struggle with loneliness. It is only by God’s mercy and grace that I can speak of any of this today. I continue to learn more about my God – my Hero – my Provider – my Fixer of everything! “I'm not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don't get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I've got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward - to Jesus. I'm off and running and I'm not turning back.” (from The Message Philippians 3:12-14) Neither the successes nor failures of my past must keep me from pressing onward. I am self –sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency. |
