Introduction	I am on any given day a mother to many,a friend to some, a sister to thousands, an aunt to a chosen few and a Social Worker to the community.I am a licensed social worker and have worked in many areas in my discipline to include the prison system, adolescent treatment, group homes, child protection and health care. I have seen the social ills of our community up close and personal. In the midst of it all I raised five children as a single parent. I am a Christian with a strong commitment to my belief system. And while I do not believe that I am the voice of the century, I do believe that through my many experiences in this life, I have formulate thoughts and views that may shed light for some and provoke others to thought. The latter being my greatest desire of all. I believe that most of us live such isolated lives that we do not see the plight of man as much as those who are forced to see harsh realities on a daily basis. My objective with this blog is to inform, provoke to thought and then action, motivate you to love others, diminish unfounded judgement and walk a mile in your brother's shoes....with much love,,,
