| Introduction | Im a 50 {something}yr effervescent wonder-woman from South-East England. ;-) I adore working and spending quality time with young children of various ages. Love up-cycling and revamping stuff, photography, practising mindfulness, meditation and forest-bathing. I adore the British witty sense of humour, you can get through anything if you allow yourself to have a daily belly-laugh. Fav colour is yellow. At my happiest when outdoors. I especially love finding a small remote woodland with only the sounds/sights/smells of nature, laying down sprawled out to meditate for few hours! I'm an open book and do wear my heart on my sleeve & its florescent & easy to bruise. Love my home town of Baldock, all the lovely fields, woods walking distance away - excellent for headspace clearance. My most favoured time in history would be early Victorian days, I would have loved to befriend Queen Victoria! Posts on this site will be immensely varied & like an effervescent cocktail of Rhona D-Lixir. I hope you enjoy... x |
| Interests | knitting,crochet all things yarny! food stuff & cooking great things that create eye-rolling-toe-wriggling-smiles! Nordic walking, swimming, photography, art, socialising, shooting, flying planes, going to open gardens, exhibitions, theatre shows and the ballet, music (many genres incl: opera, classical, 'gentle' jazz, soul, r&b, rap, hiphop, 'soft' rock, I love reading all types of things, love spiritual books, learning books, funny novels, rude novels!, autobiographies, three of my fav books of all time are 'The secret garden' and 'Jonathan Livingston Seagull!' and ''Bees''. I'll try most things, hobbies, interests etc, love learning new stuff, done such an hilarious array of things already! Travel wise, i'd like to see The Baltic states in particular Lithuania), New zealand, Alaska, Austria, Sicily, Jersey and all of my the outer Hebrides where I'm half from. I'd love go on lots of short courses to learn all manner of useful life skills and advanced cooking skills, theres so much in life to learn. I'm fascinated by the clouds and stars too so would like to learn much more about these. Love old fashioned poetry. Love elephants, rhinos and pigs, hate snakes, spiders and wasps. intolerance's: lazy people, marrow and toilet rolls being hung the wrong way round! Love my own company and am quite a day dreamer really. |
