Introduction	New Mexicast, is an Enchanting Video Podcast created by me; former TV news anchor/reporter Rosa Linda Román. Using my broadcasting skills I shoot, write, edit and host each episode, introducing audiences to interesting people and places in New Mexico and beyond. A major part of what makes New Mexicast so special is that I've got a wonderful family. As a stay-at-home mother of 3 I enjoy a balance and flexibility that's rare in the broadcasting biz. Case in point: when life pulled us in too many directions we threw caution to the wind, literally, and moved aboard a 42' sailing catamaran. After that year-long adventure we returned to our beloved, yet land-locked, home in New Mexico. Although we miss sailing I take comfort from my child who said, "Mommy, home is wherever we can all be together." On land or at sea kids find joy wherever we are. As their Mommy I get to document and delight in their discoveries along the way. This blog is a place for me to share some of those experiences with you.
