| Introduction | I'm a 35 year old married mother of one, and our family has a good life together. We live in the beautiful state of Maine, are blessed with generally good health, have wonderful family and friends, and have a nice but modest home. My husband and I each have a decent education and a good paying job. However, like many middle class families, we seem to struggle with finances. We're not extravagant but there always seems to be month left at the end of the money. I've read so much about personal finance over the years and we've even managed to get out of credit card debt before, only to find ourselves right back in it. Hence, the name of this blog...This Time It's Different. We're not getting any younger and it's time to take control of our lives and make our money work for us. This blog is a way of holding us accountable and FINALLY making a difference in the quality of our lives. |
