| Introduction | Greetings! I started this blog to document my experiences working in elementary education. I'm currently a substitute teacher as well as a working student attending college. My journey into elementary education began in the fall of 2014 when I was privileged enough to observe a wonderful first grade teacher for a college course. I was amazed by her teaching practices and knew I had to continue gaining hands on experience from her. I volunteered my time at the school, became an after school counselor then eventually applied to substitute teacher. My journey so far has been full of excitement but I know I have a long way to go.
