Introduction	My savant talent is playing music by ear - on piano, guitar, and fretted dulcimer.(I have attempted at times to conquer the folk harp). I've kept a journal every day since 1963, and I published my first novel, The Five Notebooks, in 2008. I have filled 318 blank journals since 1990 - 21 since I retired from the library in 2010. I carry my journal with me everywhere I go, which officially qualifies me as unusual.
Interests	I love cats, reading, writing, editing, bookstores, classical music, playing dulcimer/guitar/piano by ear, old cemeteries, scary stories, classic musicals, horror movies, writing parodies, every shade of purple, kilim rugs, arts and crafts Mission lamps and furniture, Santa Fe, making music playlists, decorating journals--anything artistic and creative. I have an uneasy love affair with computers--from learning without reading the directions to playing with photo-editing and speech recognition software. I am shamelessly passionate about my hobby of collecting dolls: primarily My Twinn, Kidz n Cats, and Masterpiece. I love to talk about spirituality, religion, philosophy, human behavior,librarianship, and the craft of writing professionally. I admit that I love silly quizzes on Facebook, but I loathe Facebook games. I'm addicted to psychological tests such as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. I vacillate between INFJ and ENFJ. For those who know about Neurolinguistic Programming, I am auditory kinesthetic; also, I'm an Enneagram Four.
