| Introduction | I started painting about eight years ago. I first used oils but didn't like the mess, so I tried different mediums. I discovered that I like to paint abstracts and flowers in watercolor and acrylic. My biggest problem is creating my own image. Now, I usually modify someone else's painting and make it my own with minimal or larger changes. My favorite colors are orange and yellow. I'm always searching for new techniques to incorporate into my paintings. I have used many types of acrylic mediums with acrylic paints to create unique paintings. I paint on canvas, Ammphersand Gessobord, Claybord, and Aquabord. I use Arches paper for my watercolors. My art studio is in our home office. The room's large window adds natural light and my computer is near by. |
