| Introduction | In the mid-1980s, I was a freelance Poet. Then in the late 1990s, I later became a Gospel Lyricist, freelanced, as well... so, altogether I have been writing for more than 35 years now... I am a Canadian, who is partly made up of Celtic and of Barvarian background. Basically, all of my ancestors are from several countries throughout Europe plus Spain as well, my hometown is Toronto, Ontario Canada, Aye, I be Canadian, eh? We live in the United States, been away from Toronto for 30 years now and there are times I do miss my hometown...I am a TV Producer, I've already 780 shows under my belt and there is more I am planning on doing in the near future... my show is called "Patty's Page" and I also, host it. |
| Interests | Music, lyrics, poetry, I'm also a Clown for Jesus called Bubbles, was a member of CARAS which produces and put on the Juno Awards which is like the Grammy's but it is in Canada, the original writer of all of my lyrics with co-authors, which 10 songs have been put unto demos and singles, prayerfully, they will be picked up by Label Record Companies, I've had several co-writers helping me get them commercially prepared for the demos and such, they composed the music and have sung it for me, I'm also a member of BMI of America, Songwriters Association of Canada (SAC), enjoy knitting and collecting angels (Native American-style angels), my first song was done by producer, Jo Crowe of Crowe Entertainments, the singer of the first demo was LaWanda Romaros, my second song was done by another producer named Anthony (Tony) Smith who polished it up and added music which was then made into a master demo sung by Patricia Conroy. And, the third song was written by me, composed by William MacVaine and Stanley Straube, Stanley also, sang it...hopefully the demos will be turned into songs that will go onto CDs real soon. Long and winding road but worth the journey. |
| Favorite movies | Musicals, documentaries, science and science fiction, Times of Old, Biblical movies, esp. about Jesus Christ... the real Jesus Christ, not a cult one, The Ten Commandments that had Charlton Heston in it and Ben Hur as well. One of my favourites is Wall-E... a well-done animation and sweet, as well.... loved Avatar. |
| Favorite music | Gospel, Country Music, Lawrence Gowan who is with the band Styx and the band, Styx itself, REO Speedwagon rock band, some classic rock and roll music, Glen Campbell, Anne Murray, mostly Canadian singers, Gordon Lightfoot, the Rankin Family, Ronnie Hawkins, Rita McNeil, Robbie Robinson and the Band, plus Jeff Healy who is deceased but he had played a decent guitar and was a wonderful singer and we truly miss him. Shall also miss his unique talent for sure, I enjoy Sarah McLachlan's music too, also Dolly Parton, Martina McBride and Reba McIntyre.. and of course, LaWanda Romaros, who sang my first demo/song, and the famous Canadian singer, Patricia Conroy, the singer of my second song. Callaghan, aussi... (French word meaning the word: "also".) Liona Boyd, my new found friend, Frank-o Johnson (known as Frank-o Smooth), God bless y'all, Frank-o. I have new friends who are members of a studio band who are called MacArther and MacVaine and featuring Stanley Straube plus they are from the Netherlands, Stanley sang my third song... I enjoy the rock group "Selenium" who are in Fort Wayne, Indiana...The Buckinghams, Gary Puckett and the Union Gap... of whom I had interviewed. |
