| Introduction | I'm a lifelong Oregonian. I've had the privilege to live on both sides of the Cascade Mountains and experience the best of all of Oregon. I like to know the how and why of things and enjoy learning how to do those things from the ground up. Using many wonderful local ingredients is just a bonus. I'm an unabashed American. Born and raised in Oregon, I'm retired at 56 and want to travel Route 66 and see and experience all of the lower 48 states.
