| Introduction | I have been studying pottery for about 7 months now. About 7 or 8 years ago I took a few courses and although I never stopped craving working with clay, life got busy and I did not have the oppurtunity to dedicate anytime to it until the end of last year. I started out with one class a week and within two months I realized I needed more to move forward and achieve what I wanted from the experience. I have now studied 2 days a week for the last 5 months (and it is still not enough). I have now fallen madly in love with working with such a versitile medium that I can not imagine it not being a big part of my life. I have never written a blog before but decided I would like to take this opportunity to document my journey mainly for myself but also friends and anyone interested in the process. For those taking the time to read about my journey please bear with me while I find a style of writing and documenting that works. Please feel free to leave comments or give any positive, useful advice on the blog itself or the process of making / designing pottery as I am very new to both. Many Thanks |
