| Introduction | I'm your average corn-fed Iowa girl, but moved to London at 19, studied and partied hard, then married my first and only true love (high school sweetheart, how cliche!), became an instant Navy wife, got a Masters Degree in Women’s Studies (though always leaned left), moved from London, to Hawaii to New York back to Hawaii, all the while working, writing, keeping my name, blogging and helping my 19 year old brother feel confident about respecting women when so many men around him don’t. At any given moment, I'm probably reading something about ending violence against women, ending racism, keeping abortion legal and safe, ending abstinence-only education, LGBQT Rights, ending factory-animal-farming or vegetarianism. |
How tall would you be if you had never cut your fingernails?
Still 5 foot because my nails are soft like a babies, split and never grow. And yes, I have good nutrition.
