| Introduction | My name is LeighAnne and my husband Lane and I got married on March 14, 2009. For the past several years, I have wanted to attend pastry school at the CIA in Napa and then open my own bakery. The name of my bakery is going to be Cupcake Lane (hence the name of this blog). The reality of that dream is, well, not so real. Instead, I like to pretend that I know how to bake and decorate cakes. I just love it. I especially love cupcakes. Besides baking and cooking, I enjoy every second of marital bliss! We are proud parents to Knox, our four year old black lab and our newest addition, Lucy, a two year old Boston Terrier. I love being a wife and enjoy cooking and baking for Lane and our friends. I hope to share recipes, life tidbits and lessons all learned along the way. You'll find that I use parentheses and elipses too often and don't use commas correctly. I teach home ec...not grammar. I can't guarantee that this will be interesting, but I will try! |
