Introduction My name is Andrea. I decided to start training for my first fitness competition...I started my training on April 26 and my NANBF Competition is September 17. I have always been an athletic person; I played basketball, volleyball, track, and softball growing up. As an adult I played sand volleyball until I got injured (long recovery). I got my personal training certification from Glendale Community College in 2005, I worked as a trainer for a while but unfortunately my first job wasn't great so when a different career opened up I had to take it. Most of my individual gym time since then has been classes at various gyms, I have always had a decent body, but never the muscles I wanted so....now I am training and dieting for my first competition! I think the show is a good goal for me, not something I would normally do. I want to prove to myself that I can do it! I have really found a love for cooking now that I am eating a very clean diet. Flavor is a must when you eat the same foods all the time so I have had fun experimenting in the kitchen. That is a little about me, I hope you enjoy reading about my progress and recipes I come up with!
