| Introduction | I am an MLS student at IUPUI and Library Director at the Roanoke Public Library. I have a BS in Accounting/Business Administration from Manchester College and an MBA from the University of St. Francis. I have worked mainly in the finance field until abruptly being eliminated as a financial assistant at a not-for-profit agency and applying for the library director position at my home town library. I started the director position 10 days after my job elimination. Life takes some funny twist and turns. The picture is of me at Halloween 2007 dressed as a pirate to promote our 2008 summer reading program. |
