| Introduction | I am a "native" Texan who has lived in DownEast Maine since 1994. I miss Texas, particularly in the winter. I used to think winter was romantic and fun; now, I just think it's cold, dark, messy, and way too long. I'm married to a funny, sensitive, extremely talented and handy guy, who I met and married in Maine. I like reading & watching movies. I love my dogs. I used to be a neat freak, and I can't figure out how I lost those skills. It's like something in my brain broke or became disconnected. I think that one of the best things that ever happened to me is that I failed out of medical school. My drinks of choice are beer and martinis. My favorite comfort foods are PB&J sandwiches and beef stroganoff. |
