Introduction	Exploring the relationship between form and function, glazedOver specializes in ceramic objects of intrigue, beauty and utility. My name is Jill and I'm the artist behind glazedOver. I'm a potter, mother, writer, and distracted academic willing to argue at length that the glass is indeed half full. Working exclusively at my home based pottery studio, I create colorful, eclectic wheel thrown and hand built works of functional art using high quality stoneware clays and only lead free, food safe glazes. Pieces are well balanced and reflect my holistic compositional sense which emphasizes simple stark beauty coupled with a dynamic color palette. The result is an aesthetic experience.
