Introduction | We are invited to return August 15th-27th, 2012. The focus of this team will be a medical/vision, evangelism and leadership training mission. We will be working with Pastor Dishan who pastors Bethany Church which is an outreach and reconciliation focused church in Sri Lanka. The medical clinic allows us to meet a tangible need and enables us to go into different villages/communities where we might otherwise not be invited. We will make a 9 hour trek to the north of the island (Poonyran): the region that is predominantly Tamil ethnic minority population and the worst affected by the civil war. This region receives very little relief or medical care. We look forward to sharing this journey with you and invite you to follow our blog and pray for us. |
