| Introduction | I was born and raised in the Carolina's. It was there at age 15 I heard God call me to preach in His church. While I worked in the church over my next 17 years, it was not until I was 32 that I truly answered that call. I served my first pastorate in 1992 and have never looked back. I was originally ordained in the United Methodist Church. Now I am ordained in the EPC. My undergraduate degree in Business Administration is from the University of South Carolina. I attended Seminary at The Divinity School of Duke University and received my Masters of Divinity. In 2000 I began working on my Doctorate at Trinity Theological Seminary and in 2008 finished my dissertation on "Human Anger vs. Righteous Anger" at Almeda University School of Theology. My wife Terry and I have 9 children. I joined the Evangelical Presbyterian Church in January 2009. I served as the Teaching Elder Associate Pastor at HOPE Church until August of 2015 when I was installed as Pastor. We feel very blessed to be called to serve Hope EPC as one of its founding pastors. I am now in my 24th year of Pastoral Ministry. God is Good! |
