| Introduction | I am a photographer, videographer, cinematographer and author. I began my media career in England when I was just 17 after I quit school--yes, early because I hated school. I apprenticed at Pinewood film studios, where I learned how to edit film (real film in long strips and snippets called trims). My first big show: “The World At War.” for Thames TV - I was a member of the editing team and we won an Emmy. I wrote and directed my first feature film “The Lords of Magick” entirely on digital video in the early days of CGI when creating digital effects required some real magic. My film ”Stormswept” was self-financed and sold worldwide. Today, I divide my professional time between writing novels, filming brides and adventurers, and working on my latest cinematic project. |
