| Introduction | समाजवाद और सामाजिक न्याय की संकल्पना बहुत व्यापक जिसके अन्तर्गत ‘सामान्य हित’ के मानक से सम्बन्धित सब कुछ आ जाता है जो गरीब ,पिछड़े और अल्पसंख्यकों के हितों की रक्षा से लेकर निर्धनता और निरक्षरता के उन्मूलन तक सब कुछ पहलुओं को द्वंगित करता है । यह न केवल विधि के समक्ष समानता के सिद्धान्त का पालन करने और न्यायपालिका की स्वतंत्रता से सम्बन्धित है, जैसा हम पश्चिमी देशों में देखते हैं, बल्कि इसका सम्बन्ध उन कुत्सित सामाजिक कुरीतियों जैसे द्ररिद्रता, बीमारी, बेकारी और भुखमरी आदि के दूर करने से भी है जिसकी तीसरी दुनिया के विकासशील देशों पर गहरी चोट पड़ी है । सामाजिक न्याय अवधारणा का अभिप्राय यह है कि नागरिक, नागरिक के बीच सामाजिक स्थिति के आधार पर किसी प्रकार का भेद न माना जाए और प्रत्येक व्यक्ति को अन्य विकास के पूर्ण अवसर सुलभ हों । सामाजिक न्याय की धारणा में एक निष्कर्ष यह निहित है कि व्यक्ति का किसी भी रुप में शोषण न हो और उसके व्यक्तित्व को एक पवित्र सामाजिक न्याय की सिद्धि के लिए माना जाए मात्र साधन के लिए नहीं । सामाजिक न्याय की व्यवस्था में सुधारु और सुसंस्कृत जीवन के लिए आवश्यक परिस्थितियों का भाव निहित है और इस संदर्भ में समाज की राजनीतिक सत्ता से अपेक्षा की जाती है कि वह अपने विद्यार्थी तथा कार्यकारी कार्यक्रमों द्वारा क्षमतायुक्त समाज की स्थापना करें । |
