| Introduction | "I am a thirty-something stay at home mom of two and part-time housewife. By part-time I mean that I clean only when needed and never as directed! I wasn't always a stay at home mom (I used to be an office manager) but have been enjoying life since becoming one three years ago. I am a fairly recent transplant to the south (gulp), originating from Long Island, New York and now settled in Goldsboro, NC. I have a wonderful husband who also happens to be a fantastic father. And when single women ask, I tell them "Yes, all the good ones are taken and I married the last good one 14 years ago"! Among the many things that keep me busy (and sometimes crazy) are volunteering as a reading tutor at my children's school, leading my daughter's girl scout troop, sitting on the fund-raising committee of my son's cub scout pack, and leading book club for our schools fourth thru sixth graders! On the odd occasion of having a bit of free time, I love to read (though often I seem to never finish a book), I enjoy cooking and baking, shopping, getting a mani/pedi with my daughter and on the occasional lazy day - snuggling with my son and watching super hero movies. |
