| Introduction | I am a first-time, work at home mom. I am not a medical professional and am in no way an authority on Hypnobirthing or natural birth--I am just one advocate. I started Hypnobirthing Mama to help make expecting parents aware of the many useful resources out there--resources that will help them make informed choices as they prepare for the births of their babies. Because I know so many people who have had traumatic medicalized birth experiences, I simply want to lay out the other options--hypnobirthing, in particular. I had such a positive experience giving birth to my son using hypnobirthing and want to share with my readers the possibilities I discovered, outside of the mainstream, medicalized birthing assumptions. |
