| Introduction | I never have been much for attending "social" things or groups of any kind -- I pretty much am a homebody (and I have always liked it that way!). However, at the church that I attend, the women’s group is called the Relief Society. “Decadence” for this group of women usually involves chocolate in some form, kissing and bouncing babies, and packing a fully-loaded glue gun at all times. Scrap booking supplies send us totally over the edge. In 2010 I was called as the 2nd Counselor in Relief Society, and since then, my attendance at all of the "socials" and meetings has increased dramatically. Although I have been released from this calling recently, I am still involved in Relief Society (especially since I know how much work goes into putting on our activities). If you are into faith, family, and fun, then you might be interested in sharing some “decadence” with me and the crew! |
