| Introduction | Mother of three grown children (one resides in Heaven now); grandmother of three, Sandi lives in a house that is far too big, with her little Cairn terrier, a cinnamon tabby cat, and an aquarium full of fish. Previously a family child care provider and preschool teacher, she now works in an office with big people, computers, papers and reports. She loves to read and write, play with glass beads, and knit. She loves breathing in the salty air at the beach and looking for interesting shells and rocks. I am always working on something (crafts & hobbies, writing, house, yard or garden) and there is NEVER enough time to do all that I want to do since I began working out of the home! I don't like to spend much time on the phone or computer - I detest just sitting and not getting things done! I don't want to "live" my remaining days on the computer - I want to "live" them! |
| Interests | Self-improvement and life time learning. Life is given to us - anything else we ought to be extremely grateful for. We need to get out there and accomplish what we need to - prioritize our activities and finances - we can't sit around waiting for life to come to us! No one owes us anything, and the sooner we realize that, the more grateful we can be for those things that are given to us. First things first - we can't have activities and hobbies that consume us to the point of neglecting the things which should be priorities nor those things which cause neglect or harm to the others in our lives. I love meeting new people. I like trying new things - well, within limits! |

Your people want to make a statue in your honor. What will it be made out of and what victory will it commemorate?
Laminate - comes in many beautiful colors and is very durable. Statue will have to be indoors. Commemorates my ability to get back up & keep going when life & love kept knocking me down!
