| Introduction | My wife Kathleen and I began birding relatively late in life, what a joy! On our 25th wedding anniversary last year, we were standing in a light rain, admiring the Crested Satinbird in the highlands of Papua New Guinea. I have also become interested in bird vocalizations. I am a Unitarian Universalist and sing in the choir. Art, poetry, music, and coffee keep me going, and Jon Stewart keeps me laughing instead of ranting (on a good day). |
