IntroductionJen Richer is 630 WMAL News' Street Talk reporter. You can find her asking Washingtonians burning questions about the news of the day in videos that can be found here at 630WMAL.com. When Jen is not chasing down interviews on the street, she is busy with her other sphere - as 630 WMAL's Web Coordinator. In this role, Jen is charged with putting the news you hear on the radio on the internet - not only in text form, but with a growing library of audio and video as well. Jen just celebrated her first anniversary with 630 WMAL, where she spent most of her first year learning the ropes of radio news as a desk assistant. She was promoted to her current role in January of this year. Jen is a graduate of the George Washington University, but she hails from San Diego, which she still considers to be home, even though the rising cost of jet fuel keeps here from getting back to the left coast as often as she would like. Jen wants you to know that, as a native of Southern California, she does know how to surf (kinda), and she claims to be a San Diego Chargers fan, although she'd be pressed to tell you any of the players' names.
