| Introduction | As an artist I am drawn to subjects in nature and life that move me emotionally. With inspiration from walks on the beach, kayaking along the salt marshes, exploring cities or spending time with loved ones - color, movement, texture and light combined create expressive and poetic compositions in my art. I enjoy creating large-scale expressive paintings that capture the essence of the subject matter. My Coastal Landscapes and Salt Life Reflections are greatly inspired by my travels to the Eastern Shores of Delaware, Maryland and Virginia. I also delight in explorations of figurative paintings - with crowds, marches and portraits of people who inspire me. |
