| Interests | writing. drawing. daydreaming. helping others. keeping vigilant watch on my neighborhood park. laughing at squirrels who behave like people. checking my email several times a day. listening to kids. except when they are screaming, and then my definite interest is in not listening. |
| Favorite movies | except what movies i like. and they are almost always french. i love the following films, va savoir, i like anything with audrey tatou although i understand her being compared to meg ryan, also i love stranger than fiction, and i love about scdmidt even though it is tragically heartbreaking, it is a little easier to bear somehow while listening to the french dubbing. |
| Favorite music | i still love belle and sebastion, though i no longer hate country, and find myself more and more drawn to it each day. although i am not talking about reba, or billy ray. more of the tift merritt, and ryan adams variety. my new favorite is hayes Carll. also i love women artists. alberta hunter, pj harvey, etc. etc etc. i still on occasion listen to tori amos, although i havent had the urge to hear an ani difranco song in like 8 yrs. and pretty much i feel like wretching when i hear speaking clips. same for coner oberst. and cat powers the greatest really was, that last covers record was nothing to write home about. although the cover photo was funny. i just like music. some of it sucks, and i dont like that. |
| Favorite books | margaret atwood remains my alltime fav. but i have liked others, i just havent had time for more than a magazine in a very very long time. currently digesting namesake. i will let you know when its done. |
