Introduction	Mar Bursouma Orthodox Church, Vazhamuttom East is a parish under the Malankara Orthodox Church. Mar Bursouma is our patron saint of the parish. There are three 'Altars' in the church. The central one is dedicated to Mar Bursouma our patron saint and the other two ‘Altars’ are dedicated to St.Mary and St.Thomas. The church stands as a light house for the surrounding areas, showering blessings to the devotees. There are about 140 families worshipping in this church, experiencing the unseen presence and blessings of the patron saint Mar Bursouma, who gives the real-time protection at the time of trouble and need and guard them in their day to day life. Location : Mar Bursouma Orthodox Church, Vazhamuttom East is about 6 Km west of Pathanamthitta town; 8 Km south of Konny town , in Konni - Chandanapally and 7 Km east of Chandanapallyl Junction in Chandanapally- Konni road route.
