Introduction I am a sinner who trusts in the mercy of God. Suicidal at age 14, lost, forgotten and forsaken, I had no one, no hope, no faith until God let me know He existed and loved me. At 18 I saw the movie 'Brother Sun, Sister Moon', made contact with Secular Franciscans and became one at age 21. At 27 I wandered the world and lived abroad (mostly traveling) for nearly 3 years. I returned to the U.S., finished graduate school and started a career in law enforcement. I have been a Franciscan now for 30 years, am the minister for St. Joseph's fraternity SFO and rejoice in Jesus' love more than ever. I am a follower of Jesus, the most simple, humble, meek, and loving man who ever walked this earth. I owe Him everything and this blog is dedicated to Him. Come and visit my Franciscan family - St. Joseph's Fraternity,SFO, meets the 4th Sunday at 3 p.m. at St. Kevin's Catholic Church in L.A. E-mail for info mcssfo@yahoo.com.
