Introduction	I would rather bowhunt Whitetail deer that anything else. I have been as far south as Kentucky, west to Alberta and north to Maine hunting them. I shoot a Mathews Drenalin 60# 27.5 inch draw lenght with 100 gr thunderheads on Beaman ICS carbon arrows with 2" blazer vanes. I'm not an expert and don't claim to be. I learn something every year. My perfered method is stand hunting. I've been hunting since I was 13 when I started in VT and didn't know anything. I got my first deer when I was 16 with a rifle in VT. It was a 4 Pt 115 lbs. Since then I've taken 66 deer, 34 with a bow, 28 with a rifle, 3 with a shotgun and 3 with a muzzleloader. My biggest was a 10 pt 229 lbs that scored 138 2/8 gross and net of 129 in 1994 during the MA bow season. My smallest was a 45 lb doe that looked a hell of alot bigger in the rain and low light during the 1994 NY bow season. So I took my smallest and largest in 1994. I have 6 entries in the Northeast Big Buck Club, 4 with a bow, 1 rifle and 1 muzzleloader. I've been extremely lucky to have the time to hunt and an understanding wife. My passion is whitetails and I always say you can't get them if you're not in the woods.
