| Interests | I'm a 26 year old from Perth, Western Australia and presently live in Vancouver BC. I've been an avid reader since an early age and have wanted to be a writer of some kind ever since I was seven, when I wrote my first poem, entitled "Jo's Teddy Bear". It wasn't very good. Having married a handsome & dashing Canadian web designer, I've taken the opportunity to indulge in my Austen fanaticism with my own blog, as I cannot work or study while I wait for my Canadian residency. I'm presently working on a piece of fiction I hope may become a novella, if I ever finish it- 20 years or so should do the trick, and plan to complete my interrupted degree in European languages once I can return to my university studies. Aside from books, food, wine & cooking (quite good at it)is one of my passions, along with gardens(not at all good at gardening - but I try)and independent travel/backpacking. I love getting together in a good pub with good company for a pint or five, swimming at the beach, bicycles, thrift store, junk yard sale & antique shopping, cutting things out of magazines (is that odd?)and badminton with a fortified cup of Earl Grey tea. |
