The Hands of Respect
My blogs
| Introduction | are an 8 foot tall, 5 ton granite sculpture of a male and female hand placed together to form the symbol for RESPECT. A 10 ten ton block of granite was quarried by Keystone Memorials in Elberton, Georgia, USA and sawn into two 5 ton blocks, each ready to be carved by well known Athens GA sculptor Stan Mullins. The Hands of Respect were commissioned to be a tangible example of the symbol for Respect. |
