| Introduction | Mother of 23 yr old daughter Samantha, 11 yr old bipolar son Jonah. I have one grandson Bryar,age 2. I am a born-again Christian, being saved Sept 17, 1991 at the age of 27, and I try to maintain a positive attitude through all of lives ups and downs-hense the name "Grace Like Rain". I have gone through my parents divorce, domestic emotional abuse and divorce, the deaths of my dad, mother and stepdad all to cancer, and several hospitalizations of my son due to his bipolar disorder. I have found the most wonderful man and we married in August 2008. We recently moved to the high country of North Carolina and I am searching for a place to begin my pastry internship-I have decorated cakes on and off since working at a bakery in my 20's, and i want to eventually have a business producing cakes like "Ace of Cakes" and "The Pink Cake Box" while my husband wants to fry donuts. With him, its always about the donuts. |
