| Introduction | Hello, My name is Africa Floyd. I am pursing a degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. The Art-Infused Unit Plan on Families blog was created as an assignment for EEC 302-Expressive Arts, which is a Pre-Teacher Education Program class. In the Arts-Infused Unit Plan on Families blog, you will find a family themed unit of plans which will encompass lessons, art projects, literature, etc. The arts infused approach will be incorporated into the core curriculum (math, language arts, science, and social studies). The Flat Tootie Fruity blog was done as an assignment for EEC 414 Social Studies in Pedagogy II. The Fashionable Adventures of Flat Tootie Fruit blog is a Social Studies spin on the character Flat Stanley. Flat Tootie Fruity will visit places that can be taught about in the Social Studies curriculum. It is my objective to build on these blogs as I begin my teaching career. |
