| Introduction | When asked to describe me in 3 words someone once said "Nuts About Football", which neatly sums up the passion and pride I feel when I support both England and Aston Villa - even when both teams often give me cause to shake my head in wonder at the mediocrity on display. But football means too much to me to walk away and my loyalty to both teams is unswerving. Years of dedication to Aston Villa was rewarded by the highlights of league titles and European Cups in the 80s and more silverware throughout the 90s. Hooked on England since Italia 90, I'd clocked up 99 games - home and away - before the start of the 2006 World Cup. And so the Nerney Natterings were born... |
