| Introduction | My name is Aimee' Poche'. My husband, Tommy, and I lead an orphan adoption ministry at Healing Place Church called "His Heart for Orphans" in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. We started this blog to be a resource and support system for any one who has adopted or who is thinking about adoption. Along with me and Tommy, there will also be other amazing couples who have walked the path of adoption. They include the Slack's, the Lambert's, the Turner's, the Rohner's, the Moreno's, the Landry's. Between all of us, we have experienced infertility, emotional highs and lows, domestic and international adoption, different race adoptions, sibling adoptions, financial "sticker shock", and adoptions from birth to 15 years old. We hope to be an inspiration to you along with a place to help you through any situation you may be facing that pertains to adoption. |
