| Introduction | I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 34 years experience dealing with clients with addictive and compulsive issues. I have served on the Harrisonburg/Rockingham ASAP commission. I chaired the Health Practitioners Intervention Program committee for the Virginia Department of Health Professions dealing with substance addicted licensed professionals. I served as adjunct faculty with the JMU Social Work department for 20 years and had good student evaluations and have good memories and feelings toward JMU. I am a concerned citizen who thinks speaking up about changing the negative alcohol culture just might save a students life. |
