| Introduction | For me, making art is a kind of prayer. By using the gifts given to me and opening myself to the energy of the Creative Spirit, I lose myself in the work and become one with the Holy. When we create, we do holy work as co-creators. My glasswork is a ritual of creation. I bring order from chaos. I bring new forms into being. I call forth beauty from random color and light. I transform rods of glass into beads and sculptures filled with light and life. When people look at my work I hope they see the passion and love that goes into it. When people wear my jewelry, I hope they feel the energy of the creative prayer that called it into being. I hope they search for the story each bead or piece of jewelry contains. |
