Which is easier to make a model airplane out of and why: a banana peel or a wet sock?

Banana peel: You can put some lemon juice on it and then let it dry out until it's hard and flat. Then cut out the pieces and assemble with glue and maybe toothpicks. It might not fly, but with some paint it will look like a plane. I am dead serious.
