| Introduction | I never planned on being a writer. In fact, it never made a blip on my screen of aspirations. Writing just sort of happened. I’m a big believer in destiny, fate, kismet—whatever you want to call it—and I’m certain story telling is mine. A seven-week stint at ‘the job from hell’ helped me see the light, so to speak. One day, I picked up a pad of paper and scribbled down my ideas. The next thing I knew, I’d actually written a novel! My first attempt was, well…awful, but when you’ve put your heart and soul into 100,000 words, you’re bound and determined to get them right. I went back to the drawing board and tried again. A few months later, Morgan’s Hunter was born. My crew at Critique Circle, as well as my husband, ripped poor Morgan and Hunter to shreds until I finally figured them out. Ethan and Sarah begged me to tell their story next, then, Hailey and Austin. The Bodyguards of L.A. County was well underway by that point. Currently, I’m working on the seventh novel in the Bodyguards of L.A. County series, Saving Sophie, which I hope to release in the August of 2014. |
