With that being said, I'm a freshly graduated 22 year old from Syracuse University. I will be living in Baku, Azerbaijan for the next year teaching English with a Fulbright scholarship. The title of this blog is a shout-out to those of you who know how incredibly directionally-challenged I am, and more specifically how I have to use hand signals to figure out which way is left or right. Added with my college nick-name of Annie, I'm a little lost orphan in a completely foreign city with no idea how to speak the language or what I've really gotten myself into. I have no organized ideas for this blog or any time table at all, but it's easier to just put it on here rather than annoy the majority of my friends and family with my novel-esque e-mails. Let me know about any comments, questions or concerns!
