| Introduction | "Linquist the Linguist" - I have always loved languages but preferred to work in business, as a manager and a corporate trainer, and then found my back to the linguistics world as an American Accent trainer, analyzing the speech of first language non-native speakers of English from all over the world and helping them to modify their speech patterns to increase their ability to be understood in American English. More recently, I've become interested in cross-cultural communication in general and how it extends far beyond accent to every facet of our lives. |
