Located on 80 acres in the Bijou Basin in Elbert County, Colorado, it is bordered south & east by thousands of acres of rolling cattle land. The view is beautiful. It is a perfect place for star gazing at night and experiencing breathtaking sunrises & moonrises. You feel a sense of calm, entering the Bijou Basin, winding down through the trees. Tension and stress are left behind. Designed to maintain a small intimate atmosphere, regardless of the number of guests, it will adapt to fit various needs of groups or individuals. The wholesome meals are delicious as well as healthful, making use of our homegrown fruits, vegetables and fresh eggs. Special diets are accommodated and a packed lunch to take on a hike or to a picnic spot can be easily arranged. There are many places for solitude, ideal for prayer, study and reflection.
