| Introduction | I’m in Barnes & Noble, and I see this book entitled “Chocolate & Vicodin : My quest for relief from the headache that wouldn’t go away” and I think to myself, “Oh my god, someone has written a book about my life!” It is autobiographical about a woman who, while on headache prevention medication, wakes up one morning with a headache and it just will not go away. A headache that regardless of what medication she takes or treatment she seeks won’t go away – for three years! I’m approaching 3 years, too. Well, if she can write a book - I can write a blog. So here it is. And a play on words. A life of Payne - my life of pain. |
