| Introduction | I'm a Dutch artist living on the rural Eastern Shore of Virginia, USA. My realistic oil paintings of landscapes, still lifes and other subjects are painted in the traditional way by putting transparent 'glazes' on top of a monochrome underpainting. I also paint plein air studies and sketches to improve my speed and color accuracy. |
