| Introduction | When my daughter turned three, she started pointing at everything and everyone, asking, "What's That?" It was about the same time that I had my son and my friends urged me to start this blog...a place for my photo and video essays about life on the ecotone. As I mature as an artist, I hope to set up residence in literary ecotones, where writing breaks genres and artforms seeking the thrill of riding on the edge. An ecotone is a transitional zone between two communities containing the characteristic species of each. |
