| Introduction | Books written: "Happiness Is A Choice," "Son-Rise:The Miracle Continues," "Power Dialogues," "No Regrets," "To Love Is To Be Happy With," "Giant Steps," "A Miracle To Believe In," "FutureSight," "Outsmarting Your Karma," etc. Co-Founded with my loving wife, friend and partner, The Option Institute in Sheffield, MA, USA in 1983, a learning and training center offering programs to help people become more self-empowered, self-trusting and happier as well as to successfully deal with challenges of loss, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, trauma, parenting, eating disorders, self-esteem issues and the like. Additionally, we founded The Autism Treatment Center of America. In 1974, we had originated The Son-Rise Program for our own son diagnosed with severe autism. His full recovery and our work with other families (and other full recoveries) lead to creating a teachable model to help other parents and professionals work with children with autism and other developmental challenges. The Son-Rise Program transformed the way children were worked with worldwide, introducing love, respect and the concept of joining the child's world as intregral parts of the program. |
